# Yield Club Swap Scorecard

Use this 9-point checklist before agreeing to a finance newsletter audience swap.

## 1. Audience Fit
- Same financial maturity stage: beginner, FIRE, investor, tax strategist, side-hustle, or high-net-worth.
- Similar reader geography if regulations, tax advice, or brokerage availability matter.
- Clear overlap in reader goals without duplicating the exact same editorial promise.

## 2. Trust Fit
- Both newsletters publish consistently and have a visible archive.
- Promotions are framed as editorial recommendations, not rented-list blasts.
- The partner has a low complaint risk and avoids sensational financial claims.

## 3. Value Fit
- Expected subscriber exchange is balanced by quality, not just raw volume.
- Each side can explain why its readers would benefit from the other publication.
- Paid conversion credit is defined before the swap begins.

## Quick Scoring
Give each line 0, 1, or 2 points.

- 0–7: Do not swap yet. Ask for more data or pass.
- 8–13: Test with a small placement and measure clicks, replies, and complaints.
- 14–18: Strong candidate for a recurring swap or revenue-share test.
